NOMINATE A NEIGHBOR

Gray’s Woods is full of people who quietly make our neighborhood better. The You Stand Out recognition is our way of acknowledging neighbors who go above and beyond through kindness, service, helpfulness, pride in the neighborhood, or simply being someone others can count on.

WHO SHOULD YOU NOMINATE?

A standout neighbor might be someone who helps others, keeps an eye out for the neighborhood, lends a hand during bad weather, improves their property or common areas, supports neighborhood activities, assists an elderly or disabled neighbor, helps with lost pets, welcomes new residents, or simply demonstrates the kind of community spirit we want to encourage in Gray’s Woods.

There does not need to be one extraordinary event. We know it is often the little—and frequently unseen—things which make a neighbor stand out.

HOW IT WORKS

Submit the neighbor’s name, address if known, and a short explanation of why you are nominating them. The GWNA Board will review nominations and select neighbors to have the You Stand Out sign placed in their yard in recognition of their contribution to Gray’s Woods.
